Mums' Army: Stories of antisocial behaviour

Mums’ Army (registered political party 16536) has been established to combat antisocial behaviour in Britain. Launched in January 2006, we have continued to demand that the epidemic of bullying and violent behaviour be given higher priority by the government. With over 300 active campaigners across the UK, we put up candidates for the local elections in 2006 and 2007. Gosport, Hampshire: Lisa Wise

When Lisa approached a group of young people who were swearing loudly outside her front door, she was surprised at their reaction. They apologised and walked quietly away.
Lisa, 42, says: ‘All isn’t lost with the youth of today. We must provide positive role models and pressure authorities into creating opportunities so that youngsters can have somewhere to go and something to do.’
