Mums' Army: Stories of antisocial behaviour

Mums’ Army (registered political party 16536) has been established to combat antisocial behaviour in Britain. Launched in January 2006, we have continued to demand that the epidemic of bullying and violent behaviour be given higher priority by the government. With over 300 active campaigners across the UK, we put up candidates for the local elections in 2006 and 2007. Castlebaldwin, Co Sligo: Noreen Clarke

Welcome to our first Ireland campaigner. Noreen Clarke is a grandmother who has watched society deteriorate around her family. Noreen, 57, says: ‘We all need to take responsibility. I can see that people are scared to get involved, but it’s time we took a stand and put something back into society. Authorities are not taking action. As mothers and grandmothers we can be heard and we can make a difference if we really want to.’
