Mums' Army: Stories of antisocial behaviour

Mums’ Army (registered political party 16536) has been established to combat antisocial behaviour in Britain. Launched in January 2006, we have continued to demand that the epidemic of bullying and violent behaviour be given higher priority by the government. With over 300 active campaigners across the UK, we put up candidates for the local elections in 2006 and 2007. After over 10 years of victimisation, Irene Baigrie continues to fight against antisocial behaviour every single day. Irene, a middle-aged mother who lives alone, says: ‘Our neighbourhood is vandalised and riddled with drug abuse. Like many others I am harassed, intimidated and abused by children and adults. My life has been taken from me. God knows how many vulnerable people suffer like me. I just want to put a stop to it and if I can stop this happening to anyone else I’ll know I’ve not suffered in vain.’
